This was an amzing project to be on and a dream come true for me as a Blizzard fan, coming full circle the day i played Warcraft: Orcs and Humans to World of Warcraft, pouring through the amazing art in the user manuals. I was involved early on to help drive ILM's proprietary grooming tool known as Haircraft and texture painting the first fel orc that you see in the first teaser trailer the gryphon sits on! It was such a blast as i got to sculpt in zbrush skin pores, wrinkles, battle scars, ritual scars and blisters for the skin and also paint the costumes and different masks to drive the blood, sweat tattoo, fel corruption and scarification.
Grooming the different hair styles, beards, braids, stubble and body hair and also the costume fur pelts and frayed cloth to add that final touch of detail.
For the Horde!
P.s I got to work pn some alliance dwarves too.
